In my early youth drawing and painting was already in my blood, starting on the walls of my parents house.
In 1994, I seriously started painting on paper with water-colour paint. This worked quite nice untill someone said: try to make one with oil painting.
It was fine to use this, but because the drying of paintings lasted a long time I decided to go with acrylic paint in 1997.
I find the colours of acrylic paint very nice to work with. Rapidly after this, I used more brushes, pallete-knifes and in 2006 thickeningsgel.
This is great to work with and for the time being I will continue with that.
The paintings which are on this site start with water-colour paintings, then oil paintings and at the end paintings made with acrylic paint.
